New ECA at DC: Life in our Oceans – an introduction to marine biology

‘Life in Our Oceans – an introduction to marine biology’ for Y5, Y6 & Y7 students by Living Oceans Education. This marine enrichment programme will introduce students to the fascinating and diverse habitats and creatures that exist in our oceans, in particular the natural wonders of coral reefs, one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems on our planet, highlighting the threats that face them and the importance of conservation. Students will learn a broad range of marine topics from life on coral reefs to sea turtles and sharks. We will touch on human impacts and conservation. Lessons will be educational, informative and fun and include colourful slideshows, videos, games and activities, along with an optional field excursion to snorkel a coral reef ecosystem of HK.
