Scarlet Fever

There have been a few reported cases of Scarlet Fever in school. Scarlet fever is a bacterial infection caused by Group A Streptococcus. It mostly affects children under 10 years of age. Symptoms include a sore throat, high fever, red ‘sandpaper like’ rash. Please keep your child at home if they develop any symptoms.
