DC had a fantastic show of support from students, staff and families this morning for Caps for a Cure, the Year 5 initiative to create awareness of childhood cancer. Students rose to the occasion by designing and wearing some fabulous hats, as well as raising over $17,000 that will benefit the Hong Kong chapter of the St. Baldrick’s Cancer Foundation. It was wonderful to see such support and enthusiasm on this Friday morning as our community takes action.
