After a week of literary fun, Book Week 2018, as part of DCPTA Discovery Culture Festival, has come to a close.
Throughout this week, primary and secondary students took part in a wide range of library activities including our Book Quiz @ Ding!, Guess the Bookface, Secondary Scavenger Hunt, Bookmark Design Contest, Door Decoration, and Emoji and Silhouette Quizzes. The Bilingual Bazaar, the inaugural Great Bookish Bake Off and the annual Character Parade were all great fun!
We also had a wonderful visit from author Sarah Brennan who shared her new story, The Tale of Desmond Dog, with our primary classes. Sarah is always a keen favourite and the students really enjoyed her visit. You are welcome to place your order of her books by downloading the form here and returning it to the library by Friday 9 March.
