The Great Bookish Bake Off proved to be one of the toughest competitions to judge! The bakers did themselves so proud and the judges had a difficult task determining the winners. A huge thank you to all students who participated. We appreciate all your efforts and baking talent.
After viewing and tasting the fabulous cakes, cupcakes and more, the winners are:
1st place – Kayden Lau & Steven Dino (pair entry) for their fantastic yearbook cake.
Runners up – Jessica Hauptfleisch (individual entry) for her stunning Reading Wonderland theme cake
and Aleesha Navqi & Hannah Lau for their chocolate sensation (pair entry).
Honourable mentions for exceptional taste also go to:
- Connor Booth for his Cinderella inspired pumpkin creme brulee and to
- Ethan Davies & Sara Davies for their James and the Giant Peach inspired peach cobbler.
Could all prize winners please come to the library next Monday 5 March at 2pm to collect prizes.
