On Thursday 7 June, 130 Y6 students from seven Hong Kong international primary schools descended on DC for the annual Y6 Swim Meet. DC had a strong team who swam well inĀ all of their events.The girls scored 117 points putting them in 3rd place overall. The boys scored 200 points giving them 4th place overall. The Discovery College team placed 4th overall in the Teams Competition. Of note are:
- Aiden Nantha 2nd – Boys 25m Butterfly
- Jasmine Dean 3rd – Girls 100m Freestyle
On Thursday 14 June, 185 students from nine HK international primary schools journeyed to DC for the annual Year 5 swim meet. It was a busy day at the pool with some very high standard of swimming.The girls scored 73 points coming in 4th place overall. The boys scored 57 points and came in 7th overall. The Discovery College team placed 6th overall in the Teams Competition. Of note for DC were:
- Nathan Parkin – 3rd Boys 25m Backstroke
- Alex Au – 2nd Boys 50m Butterfly
- Yannie Ho 3rd – Girls 50m Freestyle
- Karlee Dean, Amaya Mantel, Yannie Ho, Phoebe Morley 3rd – Girls 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay
