Next Friday 8 June is World Oceans Day. To mark this day the DC Primary Environmental Ambassadors are joining together with many schools around HK and the World and challenging our primary school families to provide a zero plastic snack and lunch for the day. Throughout next week Y6 students will be sharing information about the importance of this issue and ways to reduce single-use plastic consumption including how to have a ‘green’ snack and lunchbox. They will also be inviting adults within the community to pledge to ‘pass on plastic’. During the week students will have the opportunity to participate in various activities linked to World Ocean Day being organised by our Secondary Green Cobras.
