The Book Week theme this year is Old Worlds, New Worlds and Other Worlds. On Friday 17 December all students across the college are invited to come to school dressed up as their favourite book character or be part of a learning team effort with a book-related theme.
The PTA is co-sponsoring the two author visits this year. We have David Greenberg who will share poetry assemblies (Years 1-7), Nury Vittachi, who will share journalism and research stories (Years 8 & 11), and Jay Dring who will talk about the importance of Chinese language in the workplace (Year 9).
All events will be shared on the Book Week website for all students at the start of Book Week. There will also be a variety of different events taking place in school such as the Great Bookish BakeOff, Classroom Door Decorating, and various other book-related quizzes and competitions.
