Remembrance Day is upon us and we, along with many countries around the world, remember the fallen soldiers who fought in the war. Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November to commemorate the end of the hostilities of World War 1 on that date in 1918, so this year is the centenary of this event.
The PTA Shop has special crocheted poppies available for sale (a minimum of HK$20 donation) for students, parents and staff who wish to wear one. In addition, Jacqueline Ng (Y7) will be selling poppy pins next week and these will also be available during class time from the PTA Shop. The proceeds of both sales will go to the Royal British Legion (HK and China Branch) Poppy Appeal.
