‘Box of Hope’ Design Competition Winner

Posted: December 14, 2018

Congratulations to Harry Hoang from 3KWD. Harry’s Box of Hope design was chosen from designs across Hong Kong Schools as one of the design competition winners. When asking Harry about his design, Harry said, “It was based on Paddington Bear, which is one of my favourite stories. First I did a draft and then I did my final design. I was so excited when I found out I’d won.”

As part of his prize, Harry had the privilege to present boxes of hope in person to the children at Po Leung Kok Orphanage. “I felt so lucky to take the boxes to the orphanage. The students were so happy and grateful when we gave them the gifts. They really liked all their presents.”

This year DC donated 626 Boxes of Hope, a new record contribution by our school community.
