This week’s example of Visible Wellbeing practice comes from Ms Fan’s Y8 Learning Team. A current focus for this team is on creating a positive, safe and joyful environment for the group. To this end, students were challenged to think about what creates this type of environment, and what they See, Hear and Feel around them that contributes to a positive and engaging day at school:
Ms Fan commented that she was really touched by the insights the students brought, as they noticed such a wide range of different aspects of their environment – perhaps ones that ordinarily we might take for granted that contribute to their Wellbeing. This process of bringing to the surface the positivity and strength that is already there within our community is what the ’See, Hear, Feel’ practice is all about.
Next week the group will be doing the same activity, but focussed this time on what they See, Hear and Feel that helps them to be the best person they can be. Well done 8C and keep up the good work.
