Two teams of Primary students travelled to Sha Tin Junior School on Saturday 23 March 2019 for the annual Tournament of Minds competition. This was the first time DC has participated and they were very excited to be at Sha Tin alongside over 30 other teams from more than 10 different schools. Our students had been working in teams for 6 weeks on Arts and STEM challenges to design, create, sing, dance and act out scenarios that they had been given. There were a lot of nerves and excitement on the day as teams tried to overcome problems with technology not working, learning lines, practicing dances and getting to locations on time. At the end of the day, the competition was a lot of fun and a great chance for our students to see some of the things that other students in other schools can do. Hopefully, lots of creative minds were stimulated and motivated to try again next year.
