Dragons Den International Swim Meet

Posted: May 3, 2019

Ten swimmers from the ESF Competitive Swim programme took part in the Dragons Den International Swim Meet held in Singapore and hosted by United World College from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 April. The swim meet provided a great opportunity for the swimmers to get exposed to international competition, develop team spirit, friendships and relationships with each other. Swimmers were from Discovery College, South Island School and Renaissance College, with Mia Senturk, Horace Lau, Hannah Lau and Michael Smith represented DC.

17 swim teams took part in the competition from the South East Asia region. For many of our swimmers this was their first international competition and swimming in a long course pool. We had many swimmers achieving personal bests, placing in the top 10 and scoring points for ESF Sharks. They not only performed well in the pool but represented themselves and the ESF Sharks competitive programme with great distinction.
