It is soon time for all children born in 2015 to apply for Year 1 for August 2020. This process is designed to run at the same time as the Year 1 admissions process to all ESF primary schools. If you wish to apply to Discovery College (DC) for a place in Year 1 commencing August 2020, you are required to submit an online application between 1 and 30 September 2019 (but not before) through the ESF website HERE. This process includes children who are siblings of current DC students.
To assist you with this process, a Kindergarten Parents’ Information Evening will be held at DC as follows:
- Date: Thursday 22 August 2019
- Time: 6 to 7.30pm
- Location: G/F Theatre
The Information Evening will be led by:
- Julie Wong, Admissions Manager, English Schools Foundation (ESF)
- James Smith, Principal, Discovery College
- Chris Barr, Head of Primary, Discovery College
The format will comprise a presentation on the application process and an introduction to DC, followed by a Q&A session. Refreshments will not be provided. Parents are requested not to bring young children with them to the presentation, and to arrive at DC in order that the Information Evening can start promptly at 6pm. Staff will be on hand to assist parents on their arrival and to direct them to the Theatre.
