Term 1 CCAs enrolment in Gateway closes next Monday 9 September at 10am. All lists will be confirmed on Friday 13 September in the afternoon, announced via the Explorer, after which parents must login to Gateway and check their child(ren)’s enrolment as no individual notification will be sent. All enrolment is done online by parents through the Gateway; students can only view the details. Term 1 CCAs commence 16 September 2019.
If your child is no longer interested/available to participate in a CCA, please withdraw him/her from the activity before 10am on Monday 9 September:
1) Log in to the Gateway, click the Activities tab beside your child’s picture as you did to enrol your child in a CCA.
2) Click the “My Activities” tab near the top.
3) Click “Withdraw” beside the specific CCA.
If you have more than one child, you can select another child from the drop down list near the top and then repeat step 3.
Please email leem7@dc.edu.hk if there are any problems.
ESF payment system and CCA reminder
You must have sufficient funds in your child’s eWallet by the enrolment closing date to cover ALL CCAs you have signed them up for in order for them to be considered/enrolled in ANY activity, otherwise he/she will be removed from ALL CCAs. For example: if your child has been signed up for 4 CCAs that cost $200 each, you must have enough funds e.g. $800, to cover 4 CCAs. If not, your child will not be considered for any of the 4 activities. Information about setting up and topping up your eWallet can be found here. Please contact epay@dc.edu.hk if you have any questions.
Registered/Accepted during the enrolment period does NOT mean Accepted
In order to allow as many students as possible to participate in a CCA, activities will be registered on a first come/first served basis, however, where activities are over-subscribed, students who are not enrolled in any other activity will be given priority over students who already have an assigned CCA. If you choose to sign your child up for more than one CCA, preferences will NOT be accounted for. It will be presumed that your child is happy to do any of the CCAs. Registering for a CCA does not mean you/your child has been accepted (when the system shows ‘Registered’ or ‘Accepted’ beside the activity name during the enrolment period, it does not necessarily mean your child has been enrolled). Enrolment success is dependent on time of enrolment, sufficient eWallet balance and number of CCAs your child has been signed up for.
