During this period of remote learning, organisation and self-management skills have become ever more important for students in order to make continued progress in their learning. As well as avoiding online distractions, it is key that students can manage their time so they can work in an efficient manner.
This Online Learning Checklist has proven useful for a number of students. Please feel free to download and make a copy for your child. It may also be a useful conversation to see which of these practices your child uses and which areas could be developed further.
As mentioned in previous correspondence, feedback is one key part of learning. With this in mind, we had our first online 3-Way Conference on Thursday for our Year 13 students and parents. I have received very positive feedback from this event and we will be running similar opportunities for Year 7 to 12 once we return from the end of term holidays. Please look out for an email with further details next week.
In the meantime, thank you for your ongoing support and please be assured that our teachers are doing everything possible to ensure all of our students continue to make progress during this highly challenging time.
Take care and have a wonderful weekend.
