Semester 1 reports for Secondary are now available. Below this message you will find instructions on how to access your child’s report(s) via the ESF App.
This online report provides an update of learning in relation to the overall level of academic achievement in each subject studied. These grades represent an overview of achievement during this academic year, and takes into account a range of assessment tasks plus general levels of progress to arrive at a holistic professional judgment.
We encourage you to take the time to read through this, celebrating with your child their achievements and encouraging their next steps in learning. We would also like you to consider how your child has adapted to this new learning environment. Majority of our students have proved they are becoming more self-directed, and independent, learners actively engaging in the learning experiences offered. They should be proud of their accomplishments, no matter how small, over this reporting period. Use these reports to discuss with them their next steps, as the new reporting period begins in February. What are they most proud of? What goals would they like to achieve?
For parents of Y7-11 children, we will be offering a webinar on Thursday 4 February from 6-7pm focused on MYP assessment and developing your understanding of the grading system. You can enrol in this webinar HERE.
We look forward to your child continuing to build on their learning over the next semester, and you will have the opportunity for further discussions with teachers during the Three-Way conferences in April. Parents of Y13 students will also have a Three-Way conference in March, which will focus on the outcomes of the trial exams.
