Peripatetic Music Programme – Starting Monday 13 September 2021

Posted: September 10, 2021

For parents who have enrolled their children in the Peripatetic Music Programme:

The Term 1 Peripatetic Music Programme starts NEXT week from Monday 13 September 2021 and continues until the end of the term in December, except for Bass Guitar lessons that start on Monday 20 September.

For Flute, Woodwind and Brass lessons: We will be offering quality ONLINE lessons using Zoom. Instructors are happy to continue rescheduling the lessons at convenient times for each family, you may find the instructor’s information on the timetables.

We hope we were able to accommodate your preferred schedule for your child, but unfortunately with limited spaces we are not always able to meet every request.

HERE you will find a link to the folder containing all of the music schedules for Term 1 where you can open the timetable of your child’s chosen instrument. Please note, instruction for guitar and piano happen on multiple days, if you cannot find your child’s name on one timetable, please check the other days.

For those of you who are new to the programme, lessons scheduled during the school day run, for the most part, on a rotating schedule. With this, it will be important for your child to be aware and/or reminded of their music lesson time from week to week as it will be at a different time. The rotating schedule helps students to avoid missing the same lesson time week after week. Please read your schedule carefully.

Scheduled lessons continue on CPD days, Student-Led Conferences, Three-Way Conferences and early school closure. Please check the school calendar accordingly for any updates.

Important Note: The music tutors are wholly responsible for invoicing and collecting payments. DC will be collecting payments on the tutors’ behalf before lessons begin. Any disputes on payment must be resolved between the music tutor and the parents.
