In collaboration with the environmental charity ‘Redress’ Year 5 students will be learning about the need for sustainability in textile waste by considering the impact that we have on our environment; especially with regards to the consumption of fast fashion, encouraging re-wearing and re-purposing of clothes.
With this in mind, Year 5 will be hosting a clothing drive and they are looking for your support. Starting from Tuesday 19 October, we will be offering for you to drop off unwanted clothes in collection boxes at the entrance to the school.
Your donation needs to meet the following criteria:
- Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and fashion accessories.
- Please remember to wash them first.
- Shoes/home textiles are NOT accepted.
