The Green Cobras are excited to announce that the mask competition has officially ended and the results are in!
Through hosting this competition, we have reached our goal of raising awareness about the use of reusable masks rather than disposable ones to decrease our contributions to the ample medical waste. We hope we can all take issues like these into greater account in the future when facing dilemmas regarding choices that can affect waste.
This competition was exceedingly successful, which we couldn’t have done without everyone who participated as well as the teacher judges. We’re more than grateful for all the effort you have all put into designing and submitting your ideas!
Out of the 60 submissions from DC, we are proud to announce that the design winners of this competition are Csombor Balogh (Y9) and Ananya Bhandari (Y9). From KGV, the winners are Kayleigh Kao and Maddie Osmund. A huge congratulations to these four, and to everyone else who participated as well. All the designs were great!
The masks with the four winner designs will be available soon and we will announce an update with more information on the topic of purchasing masks.
