A small group of Year 9s were lucky to have an educational visit from the Tung Chung police on Monday 20 June as part of their schools outreach programmes.
As students, we are thankful for the police as they talked to us about illegal drug abuse. In this talk, we learned the different types of drugs, chemicals, side effects (academically and spiritually) and improper use of them. As students, we have thoroughly learned these topics, are self aware about our actions and critical when we face peer pressure situations. We are able to identify how to escape a situation and seek help when needed. Once again, we thank the police for this important message and we look forward to sharing this information with the other students in Year 9 and beyond.
