Personal Project Exhibition on 20 April

Posted: March 30, 2023

We are excited to invite you to the Annual DC Personal Project Exhibition on 20 April, from 8.50am to 4.30pm.

This year, the theme of the exhibition is “Travelling through Passions”. In this exhibition, you will be able to travel to different imaginary countries representing the different topics of the students’ exhibitions. We chose this theme because we wanted to excite people after being without free travel for three years. Visitors will be able to witness the entire process that goes into the students’ personal projects through this immersive experience.

Year 11 students have been able to apply knowledge and skills we learned from the MYP to something we are interested in through our personal project. Through this project, we have been able to explore our passions and interests, and gain valuable approaches to learning skills. In many ways, it has been a journey as it has tested our patience, resilience and perseverance.

The MYP Personal Project Exhibition is an opportunity for us to showcase our projects to the DC community members, including teachers, students, and parents. We will present the product of our learning, explain the process of our project journey, and reflect on what we have learned and achieved. Here are a few sneak peeks.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the exhibition on 20 April 2023. In the morning session from 8.50-9.40am, Year 11 students will present our projects to our parents and the Year 10 parents. Students in Years 7-10 are scheduled to visit with supervised teachers. The exhibition is open to everyone in the DC community from 3.30-4.30pm. We hope that you will attend this exhibition and give us the opportunity to share our personal project journey with you.
