Thank you to all families who sent in their Boxes of Hope. We collected around 600 boxes which were collected from school and delivered to the main sorting centre at Exchange Square. Blue House won the House competition for having the most boxes donated but they were closely followed by Purple House. We know it’s not all about the competition so well done to all. There are 600 children who will be very happy when opening those boxes and bags.
A few of our staff went along to the sorting centre to help check boxes and prepare them for shipping. It was clear that there were still many boxes and individual items needed for teens which will give us food for thought next year.
The volunteers at Box of Hope are extremely grateful for everyone’s generosity.
