Scholarship student Rayming Lan achieved an impressive feat by winning the Second Prize in the Professional Group B (age 14 – 17) category during the Hong Kong and Macau regional final round of the competition. This achievement has earned him the honour of representing Hong Kong in the China national final round, which will be held in December 2023 at the Tianjin Juilliard School in Tianjin.
The national final will showcase top contestants who emerged as regional winners from music colleges across numerous cities in China, specialising in piano performance. Contestants will hail from programs such as Beijing, Shanghai, Changchun, Chengdu, Chongqing, Dalian, Harbin, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Wuhan, Hong Kong, Zhuhai and others.
