A group of DC Year 7 students ended their CNY holiday on a high note – winning the U12 Cup at the 2024 Bangkok 10’s International Rugby Tournament. DB Pirates U12 team defeated teams from Bangkok, Singapore and Malaysia and took home the U12 Cup. Captained by DC Year 7 student Harry Pearce, he led his team including other DC Year 7s – Dylan Hayes, Olivier Luquet, Jovi Shum, and Rowan Batchelor. The tournament was plagued with rough weather, with teams playing in torrential rain and muddy puddles on one day, and intense heat the other. Despite this, team won every game without conceding even a try. Congratulations to the team for winning the Cup at the Bangkok 10’s International Rugby tournament two years in a row.
