Jae Won Park of Discovery College won a Silver medal in the senior group of the Hong Kong Olympiad in Informatics (HKOI) 2023/24. The competition was held during November – December 2023 with about 600 students participating. The awards ceremony was held at City University of Hong Kong in February 2024. He won the silver medal for the consecutive two years.
The HKOI is an annual software programming competition for secondary students in Hong Kong. As one of medalists, Jae Won will join the HKOI training team to select representatives who will participate in the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) competition.
