Year 5 students will be carrying out an inquiry into businesses, how they function and what makes them successful.
To help with their initial understanding, we are reaching out for help from the parent community as we would like to set up a business ‘expo’ where the Y5 students can interact, learn and ask questions to help with their understanding. This will then help the students to develop and grow their own businesses for our Year 5 Expo at the end of the year (more information about this will be shared at a later date).
Our unit of inquiry for this unit is: ‘How we Organise Ourselves’, and it has the central idea: Successful businesses meet the needs of their consumers.
If you think that you can help support Year 5 with this exciting learning opportunity and are willing to talk to small groups of students, these are the details.
