MYP Personal Project Exhibition: Celebrating Year 11 students’ achievements

Posted: April 26, 2024

We are proud to share the excellent accomplishments of our Year 11 students who successfully presented their personal projects on 18 April. This event marks a significant milestone for our MYP students as they approach the end of their fifth year in the program.

Throughout this project, our Year 11 students have adeptly applied the knowledge and skills acquired during their MYP journey to delve into areas of personal interest. This process has not only enabled them to explore their passions but has also fostered valuable approaches to learning skills. The personal project experience has been a true test of their patience, resilience, and perseverance, shaping them into well-rounded individuals.

This year, our students have collectively embraced the theme of “Spotify Playlists” for their exhibition. Music, being a universal language, holds a special place in each student’s life, allowing them to convey diverse emotions through various genres. Our exhibition covers a wide array of topics, representing our students’ individual and unique interests and preferences.

The MYP Personal Project Exhibition provided a platform for our students to present their projects to our DC community members, including teachers, students, and parents. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who joined us, listened to their engaging stories, and celebrated their achievements with us. For those unable to attend, we invite you to explore the students’ projects by scanning the QR codes included on their exhibition posters. This will give you access to explore their final products and delve into their process journals. Also, we would like to share with you the exhibition introduction video made by Elsa Tang, Year 11.

Thank you to all the supervisors and parents for their continued support and encouragement, as we celebrate our Year 11 students’ creativity and hard work.

Last but not the least, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Year 11 Personal Project Exhibition Leadership Team. The students took charge of planning the entire exhibition with guidance, showcasing their agency and sense of collectiveness. Thank you for your dedication and commitment and for making this a memorable event for all.
