In previous years, Discovery College has facilitated the provision of the seasonal influenza vaccination for students. Due to changes in provision by local providers, we will no longer be able to offer this service at the College. For those families who wish to obtain this vaccination, which is completely optional, we advise that you make arrangements through a local clinic or healthcare provider.
While we will no longer administer the seasonal influenza vaccination, we will continue to facilitate the vaccinations provided under the Hong Kong Childhood Immunisation Programme (HKCIP). This programme covers a range of essential vaccinations, provided by the government, to help safeguard children against various diseases. For more information on this programme, see here. The schedule for these vaccinations at Discovery College will be sent out in due course.
