Noa Rotem Theatre Workshop

Posted: September 13, 2024

Noa Rotem is a director, performer, choreographer and teacher. She has worked and trained extensively in Australia, Hong Kong, Israel, France, the Philippines and New York City both as a freelance artist and with companies such as Zen Zen Zo, and Anne Bogart’s SITI Company (NYC). She is co-founder of MaKom Collective (based in The Northern Rivers of NSW)  and a graduate of the Soma School of Body-Mind Centering ® (Paris), the University of Sydney and of the Actor’s College.

Our students from Year 11-13 were treated to a transformative and enriching theatre experience with Noa Rotem on 9 & 10 September. She worked with our Y11’s and 12’s on Bogart’s Viewpoints, and with Y12 and 13 Theatre students on the Suzuki method and Butoh. She has been phenomenal; the students have loved it and learned so much. Her level of teaching Physical Theatre is inspirational and our students have engaged fully and enjoyed the work tremendously.
