We are delighted to inform our community that Jonny Tate has been appointed as (permanent) Head of Secondary. Mr Tate has been in the interim role for a year, and this appointment is testament to the leadership he has brought and will continue to bring in this key position.
Mr Tate has been at Discovery College since 2015. In his time so far he has served in a variety of leadership roles, including in student support and educational programmes. He was formerly the Director of Curriculum and brings a wealth of experience leading a range of areas of student learning. A Science teacher by background, Mr Tate has an Executive Masters in International Educational Leadership and Change.
A number of community members were involved in the recruitment process and so we extend our thanks to them for their time and involvement.
