Our Year 5 students participated in an incredible Cultural Fair, to understand and respect how diverse cultural backgrounds shape beliefs, values, and actions of people. This event was a fantastic part of their study unit on “Who We Are.”
The event kick-started with DC staff sharing aspects, beliefs and customs from 16 different countries. The students were energised, enthused and engaged to see the variety of cultures that were on offer.
It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to learn, appreciate and celebrate our differences that make Discovery College a unique place to learn in.
