The ACAMIS International Volleyball Tournament was an electrifying event, bringing our community together as our two teams competed against top International Schools from across the region.
Our DC Cobra boys started on Thursday at the home of the Cobras, The Snakepit, showcasing remarkable skill and determination and securing victories on the first day of their matches against teams from five different schools that travelled from China.
Meanwhile, our fierce girls’ team travelled to the Peng Chau Sports Centre for their first day of competition, playing tightly contested matches against strong opponents. Their resilience and teamwork were commendable, showcasing the strength and talent of our girls’ program.
After two days of fantastic volleyball being played, we experienced an exhilarating finale at the ACAMIS tournament hosted at DC. Our DC Cobras Boys Team triumphed over Hangzhou International School in a thrilling finish, bringing home the ACAMIS trophy for the second consecutive year! This achievement reflects their hard work, teamwork, and unwavering dedication.
Additionally, our Girls Team fought valiantly also against Hangzhou, achieving a commendable 4th place. Their determination and effort throughout the tournament were truly impressive, highlighting the growth and competitiveness of our girls’ volleyball program.
We are incredibly proud of both our Boys and Girls ACAMIS teams for their remarkable performances this year! The boys’ victory and the girls’ strong finish are a testament to their dedication and teamwork. We eagerly anticipate what lies ahead for all our teams!
