Every year Mr Beach involves and interacts with students on several school projects, and the Year 11 site specific project is one of those. The unit concept is to explore and investigate the relationship between humans and their environment. To start off our unit, we are delighted to have our principal talk to the Year 11 Visual Arts students regarding the history and concept of the Discovery College building.
Mr Beach shows the Year 11 students the school building process and shares his thoughts on the successful design of our award winning sustainable building.
This year the site specific project is focused on using recyclable materials. Students have roughly 8 weeks to finish their research, concept and construction. Looking forward to our fabulous site specific artwork? Stay tuned – we will be displaying around the school in late February 2015.
