Y13 students recently worked on their Group 4 Project, which was under the theme “Mythbusters” this year. Each student team, with representatives from each science subject, investigated a chosen research question. Some of these questions included: How does the drop height of toast affect the probability of it landing buttered side down? Does perceived time pass faster when having fun? Does colour affect emotional state? Can sound extinguish a candle flame? Does shouting increase pain tolerance? After collecting enough data to answer their research question, each team had to present their findings.
