On Wednesday 7 January, Year 3 visited the Maritime Museum on Hong Kong Island. The focus of the excursion was to look at how Hong Kong harbour has changed over time as well as look at how museums display their exhibits. The students used note taking and diagrams to record their findings. Making links to our unit ‘Where we are in place and time’, the children also put themselves in the shoes of explorers recording what they had seen for the first time by making sketches of Hong Kong harbour.
