Australians and New Zealanders observe a national day of remembrance on 25 April each year, with 2015 marking the centenary of the World War 1 Gallipoli landing.
A traditional early morning Anzac Day Commemoration will be held by the DBIS flagpole (at school entrance) commencing 6.30am on Saturday 25 April. All from the Discovery Bay community are welcome, and laying of floral tributes is invited.
Silk ANZAC Day Centenary ribbons and Poppies will be available for a $10 donation from Thursday 23 April.
