Year 11 students are building electrical circuits

Posted: August 21, 2015

Y11 Science students build simple, series, and parallel electrical circuits with light bulbs to investigate how the brightness of the light bulbs differs in each circuit type. Students learned that the major advantages to wiring the lights in your home in parallel circuits include: constant brightness in the bulbs (no matter how many bulbs you add) and that the bulbs will continue to stay lit even if one bulb burns out.
