As a school, we are exploring how different aspects of wellbeing can have a positive impact on our learning and levels of engagement. This week, our Y7s participated in a wellness session dedicated to exploring aspects of mindfulness. This involved:
1) Yoga techniques to promote breathing and blood circulation.
2) A meditation focused on noticing.
3) A tensing and releasing meditation to promote deep relaxation.
4) A body scan to help in releasing tension in different areas of the body.
