DC’s CAS Coordinator Peter Muir has recently co-authored the first-ever text book aimed at supporting student understanding of CAS. The book, “Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) for the IB Diploma: An Essential Guide for Students” was co-authored with CAS Coordinators representing all three IB regions. The book, published this month by Cambridge University Press, has practical activities to support students in all of the CAS stages, and provides numerous examples of CAS from around the globe. The book also highlights examples of CAS experiences from Discovery College as well as DC students’ reflections on their experiences in these activities. We are delighted that one of our staff has been selected to co-author this text book and congratulate Peter on his work.
