I am delighted to announce the appointment of James Smith to the position of Head of Secondary at DC. James will step into the role left vacant by Andy Kai Fong, who is leaving us at the end of this term. A start date for James has yet to be confirmed.
James is currently Vice Principal at ESF King George V School where he has led the introduction of the school’s Middle School Curriculum over the past five years. He has also had responsibility for student wellbeing and support and the development of Learning Systems.
James has lived in Hong Kong for eight years and is originally from the UK. He and his wife Elizabeth have two children, Georgia (aged 3) and Luke (aged 1), and are looking forward tremendously to being part of the DC community in a few months’ time.
