Three DC Cobras Teams journeyed to King’s Park on Thursday 18 February to take part in the annual DBIS Y5/6 Touch Rugby Tournament. This year, with over 40 teams entered, the day was always going to provide a challenge and loads of fun. The teams consisted of a Y5 boys team placed in the U11 Division 2 pool, a Y6 boys team placed in the U11 Division 1 pool and a Y5/6 girls team placed in the U11 Division 1 pool. Results from the day are as follows:

The team finished 3rd in pool play so played for 5th/6th against QBS. Well done to the boys who finished 5th after winning this game 1-0.
Year 6 Boys

The team finished 2nd in pool play on head-to-head so played DBIS in the Cup Semi-final. Well done to the boys who finished 6th in the cup after losing this game 2-1.
Year 5/6 Girls

DC finished 2nd in pool play so progressed through to the play-offs, where the scores were:

Well done to the girls, who finished 2nd overall in the cup final.
It was a great day, and will be followed by a select mixed team heading to the CIS Mixed Touch Rugby Tournament on Friday 4 March.
