PSAT Results
The paper score reports for the October PSAT/NMSQT have now arrived in school. There will be a feedback session in the DP Centre on Tuesday 16 February at 1.30 pm when students will be able to collect their reports and interpret their scores.
Now is the Time to Register for a Summer Programme
There is no doubt that attending summer school will bring many valuable benefits in terms of academic enrichment, strengthening CVs, and giving students ‘an extra edge’ to their profile – not to mention providing them with a fun and valuable experience.
DC is pleased to have 2 excellent organisations visit us after CNY to explain more about their programmes. Students from DC have given very positive feedback on their experiences there in the past. In this regard we therefore encourage and recommend parents and students from all years to attend the following presentations:
1. Cambridge Programmes – Wednesday 17 February, 1.30 pm – 4/F DP Centre
Cambridge Programmes (www.cambridgeprogrammes.com) offers a unique opportunity for students from a small group of selected schools across the world to travel to Cambridge, UK and enjoy two weeks of exceptional activities – with a focus on studying either Academic English, English Literature, or Science. There is also an unprecedented opportunity for overseas students to have a taster of studying Law at University, in particular what it is like to study Law in Cambridge University, in their new Law Induction Programme. 2. Oxbridge Academic Programmes – Friday 19 February, 1.30 pm – 4/F DP Centre
Oxbridge Academic Programs offer summer study programmes in England (Oxford and Cambridge), Scotland (St Andrews), France (Paris and Montpellier), Spain (Barcelona and Salamanca), and the United States (New York City, Los Angeles, and Boston).
