This was a great week for the Junior Cobra Badminton teams. Our U12 Boys had nail-biting action in the match with Canadian International school. Tze Long Law won at deuce in the 5th game to decide the match DC’s way. The boys were not so lucky against Singapore International School going down in a hard fought match 2 games to 3. Our U14 girls have consolidated their position being equal top of the table with Renaissance College after two sound victories. In the first game, they defeated Canadian International School 3:0 and in the second they won over Singapore International School 3:1.
In the U14 competition, both Girls and Boys were dominating. The U14 Girls beat Canadian International School 3:0 and the U14 Boys beat both Renaissance College and Canadian International School 3:0. This puts both teams in a confident position for the finals with Victoria Shanghai Academy as their big challenge.
Our U16 Boys also had a very successful week. They had a solid win over Victoria Shanghai Academy. They won by default over Delia School of Canada who were unable to make the game. Our U20 Boys put up another brave attempt but ultimately were overpowered by Chinese International School and HK International School.
