What are the factors that affect how far a plastic tub travels when projected with an elastic band? Possible factors include: mass of the tub, elastic force applied to the tub, elastic stiffness of the band, and bottom surface area of the tub. Students each chose one of these factors to investigate and measured how far the tub travelled when their chosen factor was manipulated. After data collection, students present their data and answer their research question in a full lab report.
