The DC Cobras U10s did Discovery College proud in week 3. Playing three games, the girls played with great determination and finished the day with one draw (5-5) and 2 wins (5-3, 12-0). With some great support from lots of Mums and Dads, the girls displayed fantastic team spirit, enthusiastically singing their team chant before and after every game, and showed great sportsmanship both on and off the court. Big high-fives to Caitlin, Hannah, Isla, Jasmine, Jessie, Julie, Maia, Minnie and Yvey on a great day of netball.
The U14B DC Cobra netball team took on ISF Qilin. It was a fast paced beginning with play going back and forward for quite a few minutes before the first goal was scored. The team kept in close contact for most of the game but they got away from us a little bit in the third quarter. The girls pegged back the lead with a couple of lovely goals in the last quarter, due to some fantastic passing and movement down the court, however, it wasn’t enough and the DC Cobras went down 15-8.
