In what can only be described as magnificent weather, we welcomed DBIS and Renaissance College Year 4 staff and students to Discovery College for the annual Year 4 inter-school sports event. The students participated in a range of games, such as Human Foosball, Angry Birds, Sack Races and running the Gauntlet. Throughout the day the students competed for points to be crowned the overall winner. In saying that we have an overall winner, the most important aspect of this event each year is providing an opportunity for both students and staff to connect with other schools in a fun, physically active and informal setting.
A special thank you to Damian Trimingham for his organisation, the PE team for their support and all teachers who played an important part in ensuring the success of the event. A great team effort!
Also a big thanks to the parents who attended the event, it was nice to see so many faces interacting and cheering on the students.
