The girls were excited about getting the new season underway, with our first match on Sunday, against the ESF Wildcats South. Eluisa was our captain, as the game fell on her 12th birthday. The game was hard fought from the outset and by half-time there was only a goal or two in it. We had a tough 3rd quarter but managed to pull back our 3 goal deficit in the early stages of the final quarter. Unfortunately, the other team scored a couple of quick goals right before the end of the match and we went down 19-17. Congratulations to our two new teammates, Abbie and Uma. Great to have you as part of the DC Cobras U14B Netball team.
