DC’s Sunshine Action Club will be holding a ‘Street Sleepers Simulation’, aiming to give participants a glimpse of what it is like for those living on the streets in Hong Kong. The event offers a chance to develop empathy and understanding for those less privileged in Hong Kong, as well as an opportunity to get engaged in fun learning activities with others.
The Sunshine Action Club, a student-oriented club, is affiliated with the charity of the same name, and since the start of the academic year, DC students have provided food to nearly 1,000 families in Hong Kong. The ‘Street Sleepers Simulation’ will take place from 6pm Friday 27 April to 8am Saturday 28 April, on the 6/F deck. Senior secondary students may participate.
