The PTA are advertising for the role of PTA Administrator, a paid, part-time position. The person hired to fill this role will:
- Manage communications on behalf of the PTA
- Organise regular PTA events, from large-scale fundraisers to smaller networking events, and manage groups of volunteers in connection with these events
- Work closely with the PTA Treasurer to provide financial administration support, prepare key documents and report to the PTA Committee
- Run the PTA Hub, a community space for DC parents, on 1 or 2 days a week, including managing events, facilitating uniform fitting sessions, and supporting the school’s Lost and Found service for student property
The working time for this role is 2 days per week. Precise hours are subject to discussion with the DCPTA Chair and some elements of this role may be able to be performed via a work-from-home arrangement.
Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential, as are good administration, customer service, organisation and coordination skills. This position is a great opportunity to contribute to your child/ren’s school and get connected with the community.
